I’m really unfit and haven’t exercised for ages (if ever), will I be ok?
Absolutely! Many of our current members had never done any exercise before – we all start somewhere! Our fitness sessions are all designed to be suitable for all levels – we encourage everyone to work at their own pace and there is no pressure to keep up with anyone else.
I have an injury, will I be ok?
This will depend on the nature of your injury. There are always ways to adapt exercises and many of our current members find they can continue training with us despite having an injury. However, I strongly recommend speaking with a medical professional (your GP or a physiotherapist) before increasing the level of physical activity that you are currently doing.
I am overweight, will I be ok?
You will most likely be absolutely fine, and you’ll find that training with us is a brilliant way to help you become a healthier weight and more body confident. You are not alone – the majority of the people who start working with us want to lose weight. If you are medically obese then you should always check with your GP before making changes to the level of physical activity that you are currently doing.
I have no co-ordination, will I be ok?
Yes! The majority of our members said exactly this when they started! The good thing about training with us is that it doesn’t matter if you aren’t co-ordinated, no one will mind if you get any exercises wrong and we are always here to help! Just keep moving and have a laugh! Co-ordination is a skill which can be developed over time, so be patient with yourself.
I’ve never used weights before, will I be ok?
Yes! I specialise in weight training, and absolutely love showing people how to use weights to change their body shape. Lots of my ladies had never picked up a dumbbell before starting with us, and now they absolutely love lifting weights. They love how it makes them feel stronger and they love achieving new things. I’ll make sure you use safe, correct, and effective technique, and you won’t be expected to go too heavy too soon.
Who do your programs work for?
Our programs work for anyone who follows the advice we give and embraces the changes we ask them to make! We help people to make lifestyle changes, rather than quick fixes or fad diets, as we know that this is the best way to get results.
I’ve tried gyms and diets before, but they didn’t work. Does this work?
My clients feel better about themselves very quickly, and we empower people to make changes and live a healthier lifestyle. If you attend all of your sessions and follow our healthy eating meal planner, you will lose weight, tone up, feel fitter, stronger and more body confident. We will support you every step of the way and keep you accountable, but it will be down to you to put the effort in.
Have a look at what some of our current members have to say on our Success Stories page.
How quickly can I expect to see results?
Honestly, this will depend on you. If you’re willing to commit 100% and make positive changes to your life with our help, then you will see changes from the word ‘go.’ I can guarantee that, from the first time we meet, you will leave feeling great and ready to make some positive changes.
What should I wear?
Something you can move in which will keep you cool – for example, leggings and a T-shirt or vest. You don’t need any fancy sportswear, but you may develop an obsession with jazzy leggings after a while! The gym can get quite warm, so you might prefer to wear layers that you can take off, as you get warmer. You will need to wear trainers and a supportive bra (preferably a sports bra, if you have one).
Do I need to bring anything to my free taster session?

Yes, there is plenty of free on-street parking around the gym.
